Model 1873 Socket Bayonet measures 21″ overall with a 18″ blade. Excellent condition with only light wear, scratches, some fading blue on the socket area. US stamped on the ricasso area of the blade. Scabbard is in good shape with some finish loss, comes with a leather frog with a brass rosette stamped “NJ” New Jersey. Back of hangard is stamped a large “K” and the leather throat area is stamped with what looks like A. A very nice piece. See our other Bayonets at TR-West.
