This is a pre-owned vintage bayonet for a Springfield model 1873 style rifle. The bayonet shows signs of wear from age and use and is in good condition overall. There no signs of cracks or breaks, and the entire piece is solid. Please refer to photographs for a more detailed look at the condition. Comes with vintage scabbard.

The bayonet is 21 inches long. The bayonet muzzle ring inside measurement is 0.748 inches and tapers to 0.726 inches. The finish is blue but is thinning. It is marked US with an S. The scabbard is metal and the blue finish that is thinning and turning plumb color with some light pitting. The frog is leather and is flexible. It is marked MASS with a unit stamping of C2, 5.
