6 M1 Garand Bayonet with Scabbard #LOT 1
For sale is 6 mauser bayonets that was converted to be used on a M1 Garand rifle. Each bayonet has an extra piece of metal welded to the hilt of the blade to allow it to slip over the garand muzzle. These are used but in rough condition. Dings in the blades. Beat up scabbards but they mostly fit the blade. Cracked or chipped grips. 14 3/4 inches from end to end. Blade 9 3/4 long. These where originally Turkish bayonets that where modify post WWII to repurpose WWII equipment. I have personally tested each bayonet to ensure the release button works and the bayonet will mount onto a M1 Garand. THESE DO NOT WORK ON MAUSERS IN THE CURRENT CONDITION. WILL FIT M1 GARAND ONLY!

We have made no attempts to clean this item. It contains small amounts of dust & dirt from where it was found among other army war items. Fully functional and works perfectly. Locking spring mechanism is in great shape. Belt attachment swivels and works perfect without any bending or damage to the metal. Very nice artifact from the war. This M 1 Garand bayonet is a rare find for collectors of militaria. Made by American Fork Hoe, it was used during World War II and is an original piece. The bayonet has a 10 blade and comes with a flaming ball scabbard. It’s a great addition to any collection of edged weapons. The bayonet’s country of origin is the United States, and it’s a featured refinement of WW2 bayonets. It’s in excellent condition and a perfect representation of the weapons used during the war. US WW2 M1 Garand 1943 Bayonet UFH 10 Spearpoint Blade with Scabbard
Union Fork and Hoe (UFH) Dated 1943. WW2 US M1 Garand Bayonet. Slight bend below the cross guard and dings on the tang. The points were either shortened to a “spear” or “beak” point, the latter being used most often on the early M1905 bayonets with a square fuller to give extra strength to the tip of the blade.
