One of the many variations of German modifications to captured bayonets used in WW. CSZ V markings on 1 tang. E ” rampant lion” 26 marking on the other tang.

German WWI Bayonet SG84/98aA Coppel With88 Scarce Leather Scabbard Unit Mark #288

Original WWI German Bayonet SG84/98aA old pattern which is a modified 71/84 bayonet, these arsenal modified bayonets were made by rehilting the 71/84 model so it would fit the new Gew98 and the Kar98AZ. Blade model with short fullers, blade with crown Fraktur proof on the spine as well as Crown W 88, this bayonet is scarce. The left ricosso is marked Alex Coppel Solingen. Complete with a Spanish leather scabbard with steel mounts which is just like the German scabbard except with softer leather. The crossguard is unit marked E. 2.115 which is for an Eisenbahn (Railway) battalion 2nd Company weapin # 115. The press stud functions perfectly. Overall condition is VG- for a German WWI bayonet. Be sure to look at all of the pictures for a visual description.

This one is for the WW11 German M1884/98 Bayonet & Scabbard, as there are many variations to this model I will list what it has. Good condition with a little rust, scratching on blade as seen in pics. I Took pics of all the the numbers I could find. If you need more pictures just ask. Sorry that is all the inf I have. IF you see I posted an bayonet wrong the one for sale is item for sale. I would love a message if I listed it wrong. I bought a large collection and most I’m guessing I listing them correct. I have more bayonets I’m going to list, I have some helmets and other military items ill be listing if there is a spot from them. Section and more bayonet coming for sale.
