EAST GERMAN DDR BAYONET withSCABBARD TYPE 2 withWire Cutter WW2 Era 1946? Heavy
I believe This is an authentic East German DDR Bayonet Knife with a scabbard. The weapon has been modified and features a transitional pommel design. The bayonet is made of bakelite and has a Type 2 transition point. It is a great addition to any militaria collection and a unique piece of history. The knife was manufactured in Germany and is an original item from the period. Item is in overall good condition. I’m no expert but I don’t see any significant damage other than some light scratches. She photos and use zoom feature. THANK YOU ENJOY &####128077;&####127482;&####127474.
Iraqi Bayonet Operation Desert Storm Bringback Rare
This bayonet was captured during Operation Desert Storm in 1991 when the Coalition forces liberated Kuwait and pushed Saddams military back across the border. I received this from a veteran who participated in the push and collected this as with other military gear off the Iraqi forces that was retreat and surrendered. The bayonet has bakelite grips and a metal scabbard. The blade has an insulator wrapped around the scabbard with what appears to be a name and unit marking has been written on it as with a bit of paracord tied to it. There is a bit of damage to it but considering where it came from and how it got collected its understandable.
