Will have a letter or number mark on handle C, 2, 3 etc. These are the real deal, have the stamped “OKC 3S Ontario Knife Co” on tang below the guard. The aftermarket repros and fake import counterfeits have etched, painted or screen printed logos on the knife, see second photo for illustration. Scarce Spanish Model Rolling Block Single Shot Musketoon Socket Bayonet measuring 24.25″ overall with a blade length of 21.75″ and an inside socket diameter of. Comes with scabbard and frog. 43 Spanish Reformado Carbine length rifles and were mostly used to arm Sappers & Garrison Artillery Troops. Bayonet ricasso shows a 4 pointed flower cartouche. Scabbard shows brass wire reinforcing near the chape. A hard to find piece.

Vintage US M5-1 Bayonet for M1 Garand Rifle with US M8 Scabbard J&D tool company

This is an original M5-1 bayonet designed specifically for the M1 Garand rifle, manufactured by J&D Tool Co. The bayonet features a solid design without a barrel ring, employing a locking mechanism tailored for the Garand’s gas plug. Both the blade and handle show expected wear from use, but the markings are well-preserved, enhancing its collectible value. Accompanying the bayonet is a US M8 scabbard, produced by Beckwith Manufacturing Co. Although originally designed for earlier blades, this scabbard fits the M5-1 perfectly and remains in good functional condition. The scabbard retains much of its original olive drab finish, with minor signs of age and wear. This bayonet and scabbard set is an excellent addition for military collectors or Garand enthusiasts, representing a significant piece of post-WWII and Korean War-era history. Bayonet: Good condition with sharp markings; minor surface wear consistent with age. Scabbard: Structurally sound with minor scratches; original finish intact. 1873 French Chassepot Rifle St. Etienne M1866 Yataghan Sword Bayonet & Scabbard

Antique 1873 French Model 1866 Chassepot Needle-Fire Rifle St. Etienne Yataghan Sword Bayonet & Metal Scabbard (NON-Matching Serial Numbers). Offered here is an antique Model 1866 Yataghan sword bayonet for the Chassepot needle-fire rifle. The M1866 was named after its inventor Antoine Chassepot. This bayonet also fits the M1874 Gras rifle with some minor fitting. Four state arms plants produced these, including Chatellerault, Mutzig, St. This was made by St. Government bayonets are marked on the spine. Overall, this bayonet is in Very Good – Very Good Plus condition, considering its age. The press catch is functional with very stiff spring tension. The guard is securely fastened to the tang. It has light superficial oxidation and very light pitting. The coloring has started to turn a darker patina color. The two (2x) rivets securely fasten the brass grip. They have started to oxidize. The grip has serrations that are mostly distinct. There are some light scrapes and draglines on the rear end “pommel”, plus scratches and impact marks on the sides. The spine, fullers and sides have light scrapes and scratches. There are a few small nicks and dings on the blade edge. Appears to have been sharpened at some time. The tip is intact and comes to a semi-sharp straight point. The finish is in the white with scattered discoloration. The top of the spine is marked Mre d’Armes de St. The right ricasso has proof marks. The left side quillon also has proof marks on the quillon and serial number “M 46727 / M11″. It does NOT match the scabbard. This scabbard is in Good – Very Good condition, considering its age. The frog loop is intact and securely attached to the body. The mouth, body and finial all have light oxidation and pitting. There are a couple light impact marks. The finish has started to turn a dark patina color. The scabbard has the serial number B? 24946 which does NOT match the bayonet. The “B” could be an “H”, it is hard to read. This bayonet and scabbard will be a great addition to your French Chassepot needle-nose rifle, or a bayonet collection in general. As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition. 1880’s German Mauser Gew 71, 71/84, 88 Rifles M1871/84 Knife Bayonet & Scabbard

Brought to you by CAMARILLO TRADERS specialists in new, used & antique arms, collectible militaria and rustic ephemera. 1880’s – WWI German Mauser Gew 71, Gew 71/84 and Gew 88 Rifles M1871/84 Knife Bayonet & Metal Scabbard. Offered here is an 1880’s Gew 1871/84 bayonet and metal scabbard. These will also mount on the earlier Gew 71 and later Gew 88 rifles. When the Gew 88 came out, the military thought the M1871/84 bayonet was too short so they went back to the longer M1871 bayonets. Overall, this bayonet is in Very Good – Very Good Plus condition, considering its age and history. The press catch is functional with stiff spring tension. Both the pommel and guard are securely fastened to the tang. They have light oxidation and impact marks. The finish was originally in the white, but has turned a darker patina color. The escutcheons securely fasten the grips. They have light tool marks with strong slots. The grip panels have light compressions, draglines and scrapes. The wood has darkened with age. The blade edge has no nicks or dings and appears to have its original factory edge. The tip is intact and comes to a sharp straight point. The finish is in the white, there is some light scattered discoloration. There is a layer of dried cosmoline throughout. The right ricasso is marked with a serial number “1032”. The scabbard is in Fair – Good condition, considering its age and history. The frog stud is securely fastened. The body has impact marks, oxidation and scrapes. Some of the finish remains and has turned to a gray patina color. There are no markings on the scabbard. This bayonet and scabbard will be a great addition to your Gew 1871/84 rifle, or a bayonet collection in general. As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards. Portuguese Model 1885 Sword Bayonet With Scabbard For M1886 Kropatschek Rifle. This bayonet was used in World War 1 Service with the Model 1885 Guedes Rifle and Model M1886 Kropatschek Rifle The markings on the blade of this model 1885 indicate this bayonet was made by the Oesterreichische Waffenfabriks Gesellschaft in Steyr in 1889. Blade Length: 470 mm. Muzzle Ring Internal diameter: 16mm. Pictures tell the tale. Press pin lock and release system in place and functioning perfectly. Scabbard has some patches of moderate putting that have been refurbished (cleaned and re-blued).
