This bayonet was used in World War 1 Service with the Model 1885 Guedes Rifle and Model M1886 Kropatschek Rifle The markings on the blade of this model 1885 indicate this bayonet was made by the Oesterreichische Waffenfabriks Gesellschaft in Steyr in 1889. Blade Length: 470 mm. Muzzle Ring Internal diameter: 16mm. Pictures tell the tale. Press pin lock and release system in place and functioning perfectly. Scabbard has some patches of moderate putting that have been refurbished (cleaned and re-blued).
