Military WWII Utica 1942 stamped Rifle Bayonet Knife. Measures 14.5″ overall with a blade length of 10″. Blade still shows parkerized finish with wear, use, some sharpening. The ricasso is marked, U. 1942, the opposite side has the cross cannon ordnance cartouche which only UTICA had stamped on the back. This was re-sent back to the arsenal and shortened by Oneida. Stamped next to the Ordnance cartouche. Great working press-stud mechanism and smooth lock in on scabbard. Grips are very good showing no cracks or gouges. Scabbard shows light wear, scratches, with US marking in a flaming bomb on the locket area.
