Overall length is now 15″ & blade length now 9.75″. Reduced down from a model 1898 German butcher bayonet. There are two crown marks on the blade spine along with a’13’. The blade is marked’waffenfabrik mauser A.’on one side only. The pommel has a 4 digit serial number, probably Turkish. Blade is still shiny with no rust but well worn. Lots of dents on flash guard. The wood grips are ok, no cracks but theres couple gouges near rivet screws. Push button works nicely. Scabbard has dents on both sides; & found no markings. The throat screw looks like a replacement. This is a nice example of 100+ year old modified bayonet. As always, carefully study our photos of exact item. See our other items.
