WWII Era Spanish M43 Mauser Rifle Bayonet w/Scabbard – Marked: P. Very Nice Condition. Up for sale is a WWII Era Spanish M43 Mauser Rifle Bayonet with Scabbard. Spain imported the M43 Rifle and corresponding bayonets from Germany in 1943. This rifle and bayonet were near copy of the German K98 Rifle. However the quality of construction was much cruder than the German K98 Bayonets. The bayonet is marked: P. On the side of the guard, with a serial number on the other side and the pommel, see photos. The blade shows no evidence of excessive sharpening. The blade is blued with very minor finish and scabbard wear. It has the wooden grip panels. There is a hairline crack in the left side panel. The pommel and release button have no proof marks. The scabbard is in Nice condition as well, a few minor dents near the tip, see photo. No rust, some very light surface pits. There are no markings on the scabbard. Overall this Bayonet is in Very NICE condition. Check out my other items.
