WWII Type 30 Japanese Arisaka Bayonet With Metal Scabbard
Designed for the Imperial Japanese Army and produced by the Tokyo (Hohei Kosho) Arsenal. Stamped/engraved on the end of the hilt is a small Japanese character otherwise known as a kana placed inside a circle which tells us this piece is from series 35. Beside this symbol is serial number 4953. Blade finish-Bright with fullers. Grip shape-Contoured with screw. (The metal scabbard was discontinued in 1942).

Original WWII imperial japenese type 30 arisaka sword bayonet. Made in Japan at the Nagoya Army Arsenal as indicated by the figure 8 looking mark which represents 2 sachi (Golden Dolphns). Overall great condition with metal sheath. Please examine photos to determine condition. Any makers marks i could find have been photographed. Measures just under 21 inches overall.
