German Model 1898/05 Butcher Sword Bayonet for Kar 98 and Gewehr 98 Rifles. 19.75″ overall length with a blade length of 14.5″ blade. Very good condition with blade showing some light age patina, wear, use. Spine top of blade marked with crown over 15 and cypher. Ricasso area of blade stamped, “FICHTEL & SACHS SCHWEINFURT”. Cypher on top of handle past flashguard and on the pommel end, left side. Scabbard shows brown age patina, some dings/dents. Comes with a leather frog, shows some small cracks around the frog stud hole. Cypher also on the throat of scabbard. Rivets also have cyphers. See photos for further details.
