Part of a war bring-back lot of service bayonets. Damage on handle and nicks on blade from active use. Pitting on blade from old blood stains. During its lifetime the frog lug on the scabbard broke and was re welded which was common for these bayonets during the time. The bayonet lugs and springs are all still intact and can be placed on any compatible Mauser rifle as this is a VZ-24 Mauser bayonet design. (Tested with a Yugo M24/47). The stamping on this blade is unique with the CSZ P where most had the E or D stamping. This rare Czech WW1-WW2 Mauser Service Bayonet with Scabbard is a must-have for any serious collector of militaria. Its history and significance make it a valuable addition to any collection.
